JACK LOEW-BIOGRAPHY
Born on January 2, 1960,  Jack was an intense, tough as nails gridder for the Cardinals where he was a two-time All-Steel Valley Conference selection as a junior and senior.
He also earned All-North-east Ohio honors and added Honorable Mention All-State plaudits to his resume as he helped lead the Cards to two conference titles and a state play-off berth.
By his own admission he wasn't blessed with great speed or overpowering size, which makes his 1,900
career yards all the more impressive because they came from sheer will, guts,  and hard work.
That aforementioned number was third all-time on the school rushing list when his eligibility ran out with only running backs Ted Bell and Joe Croft carrying for more total yards.
Upon graduation he accepted a scholarship to Southern Colorado University, but a knee injury cut short a promising collegiate career so it was in to his next love - boxing.
A trainer/manager now for over 20 years, he is a past President for the former Youngstown Golden Gloves and also Amateur Boxing Trainers Association.
He was arguably the nation's best kept secret as a trainer until recently, but his development of Kelly Pavlik and his eventual ascent to the top of the middleweight class has given rise to Loew's stock and ultimately has made him how a household name as well on the world boxing stage.
Lowe's stable includes a great cross-section of fighters from all walks of life, having trained 10 professional fighters including junior middleweight Billy Lyell, welterweight Craig Kikta and middleweight Darnell Boone; formerly of Youngstown and currently of Atlanta, GA among others.
He has also trained seven national champions and WBF world champion, Kenny Sigurani.
Among the fighters he is managing are two current professional hopefuls; welterweight Willie Nelson and lightweight Prenice Brewer.
His many awards include, but are not limited to his selection as 2007 TSS (The Sweet Science), New York Times, Fight News.com, and Sportswriters of America "Trainer of the Year", having also been selected on four separate occasions as Region 5 National Amateur Team Coach, based in Colorado Springs, CO.
Jack and his wife Marlene, are the parents of 3 children; daughters Nichole and Brandi, and son, John
